I'm trying to register a username under Jabber and I have not been able to get it working in the past hour or so.

I have tried different servers and different methods of registration (Adium and web registration).

I keep getting error messages.

Anyone able to offer advice/help?

Are Adium users affected and if so is there anyway to encrypt our messages?
