No bundles in the ~/library/mail folder - just my mailboxes and sigs etc.
It did install into /library/mail/bundles - pulling it it out of there lets Mail work again.

Don't appear to have a user level Library/Frameworks (that's what the tilde means, right?) directory. The only other one I can find is System/Library/Frameworks with these in it: CoreMIDI.framework CoreFoundation.framework CoreAudio.framework Cocoa.framework Carbon.framework WebKit.framework vecLib....
