you can always edit it yourself:
show package contents on adium->resources->status icons->show package contents on the status icon pack you want-> edit mobile/mobile-tab

bigzaphod most of the adium preference panels have been redone so most of your old settings wont carry over(in the .7* series there wasnt much change in the setting areas so you didnt lose them, and you wont lose any settings for the rest of the .8* series) echidnae did you download off the beta pag...

a few things
are you running adium from the disk image(make sure you draged it to apps and your running it from there)
have you tried deleting the original .dmg then ejecting the disk image?

thou your language is probably not the most excepted here on the forums its great that you love adium

the message styles were designed like that... you have to ask the author to change it or edit the message style file yourself

theres probably been about 2000 downloads of .8 and this is the only time this has happend, and i suggest that you toan down the contents of your message if you want help, i know for a fact we have 8 year olds reading these forums

use show package contents on adium, then open resources and look for a file called status icons, then show package contents on gems.adiumstatusicons then change both tab-mobile and mobile

not all are broken, some use the signs that come bundled in adium already(the ones that have gone missing) but others have there own included, which are not effected

go to apperance prefernces and select fit vertical

i mean the little black duck in the top right corner of the menu bar

have you tried using the adium menu bar item, its loaded with features

on both of the main downloading sites i visist(macupdate, version tracker) adium is hot download

well i made a mistake, its only a 6.6mb download(wonder why i thought 20mb? maybe after expanding etc...?)

i was thinking something like on the blizzhackers forums: http://www.blizzhackers.com/index.php were they moved all the posts with outdated things in them to a forum called archive

if you dont use stickies they sould become clickable(if you click a sticky it just gets rid of it)

okay you click message received(initial), then the + in the bottom left, pick from the drop down menu display a growl notification(check off sticky if you want it to stay there untill you click on it, leaving it unchecked makes the notification fade out in about 3 seconds) that sould get you going(r...

what message view theme are you using?

try re-downloading, it sould be around the 20mb mark(thats what it says in safari for me)
