When I choose a "Custom..." away message, could we have it default to the last message and settings that were used? This was a great feature of 0.7x.

Don't worry, it's definitely not finished yet. When it is, the same keystrokes as before will let you pull up the window, type, and go away. You can see this is is partially in place in recent source in that you can type as soon as the window opens and pressing Return sets the message rather than i...

I like this, but there should be some way to indicate which services have away messages up without having to flip through the tabs. Maybe something similar to the status icons on the tabs in the message view window.

I don't know if I'm supposed to make requests in this thread, but while we're talking about the new status system I'd like to go ahead and make one. Is there anyway that there could be an option to have the saved statuses sort alphabetically? This would be a huge time saver.
