Clickability / Stickiness

Would it be possible for notifications which aren't sticky to ignore clicks (letting them pass through)? Fairly frequently I'm doing something and have to wait for a notification to go away before I can keep going.

If you're at all familiar with the command line, you might want to take a look at rsync. I'm not sure if it can resume interrupted up/downloads, but it sounds that way from the man page, from its whole philosophy of just transferring differences in files.

As of Adium X 0.8b3 r10400, it definitely works, so either it "already" works or is fixed for the next version.
(Edit: this using AIM for both sending and receiving.)

Never saw it before…
Hmm... okay, so I searched, and didn't find anything useful other than this thread. I know I've seen it lots; I guess in the old forums.

Short answer: Sorry, but it's very unlikely.

Longer answer: Adium is written using a lot of MacOS X - specific stuff.

In-Depth answer: do a forum search, and you'll find this is pretty well covered already.

In addition to other LaTeX coolness, I'm also a fan of being able to click on the equation after sending it to make it turn back into text.

Very odd! Weird, since Webkit drives both of them (right?), and since whitespace is irrelevant in HTML/CSS.... I remember this cropping up in someone's .plist for a sound set (or something); maybe the problem is when Adium's reading the file, not when it's being parsed by webkit. Anyway, good to kno...

How does the tutorial 'go wrong'? (As its author, I'd like to know if it's a bug in the example code...) Are you sure that the HTML as you have it in youre test file (for Safari) is the same as what ends up in Adium? I might try giving everything borders, so you can make sure it's at least nesting/s...

Get info for that contact (right-click > get info or apple-i), and then select the contact you want to remove in the tray and hit the little "-" (if my memory serves me correctly). The various ways to do metacontacts have been greatly discussed... this thread seems to have a pretty good li...

Anyone care to run down why they prefer CyberDuck to Fugu (aside from the duck-ness of it... realy, a blowfish is pretty cool too)? I recently tried both (a couple months back) and have been a Fugu user when I wanted a GUI for sftp... and I'm hoping to be too lazy to compare them again.

Actually, you probably want the tutorial , not the documentation - although the docs have a link to the tutorial. The show/hide is definitely possible, and has been done many a time. It would involve javascript that accesses the visibility attribute (or the display attribute) of things that'd be in ...

Is svn in your path? (When you run it manually, are you typing just "svn", or "/usr/bin/or/something/svn" ?)

Thanks... I'm trying NetNewsWireLite, for now. (Thunderbird is more featureful - e-mail and all - than I want.) The problem was that none of the things I was trying liked RSS 2.0, I think: Once I got the RSS 1 feed, it works fine.

Awesomeness

Just come to say (again) that the dev.s are utterly awesome. First: Tooltips no longer crash Adium! Yay! I missed them so... Second: I just noticed the 'remove link' button in the insert-link window. Very handy. (Icons are still a little mixed up, but...) Also (OT), could someone advise me about RSS...
