The above ticket and the problems described therein were fixed today.

The GPL requires disclosing source for any releases. The NDA does not allow releasing the source.

Closed-source projects have no problems releasing binaries with Leopard compatability.

Looks like a 10.5 bug, not an Adium bug.

This is part of Adium that broke under 10.5, which will be fixed in a future release. Due to the conflicts between the NDA and the GPL, the fix couldn't really be included sooner.

Check the ~/Library/Application\ Support/Adium 2.0/PlugIns/ folder. It's possible that when Adium went to disable it, it was unsuccessful, so it's still loading it.

The "Erase and Install" option completely wipes the partition you select; if your Users directory was on that partition, your settings for Adium were lost.

Are all of your accounts set up?

I have no problems running Growl on Leopard.

In the options for the account, what are the settings? Do you have anything like LittleSnitch installed, too?

Adium connects to MSN on Leopard just fine for me. Are you behind a firewall? What's your server information set to?

Chances are, if you're experiencing this error, you're behind some kind of firewall or something is blocking the connection. The AIM server also responds on port 80; try changing the port you connect on to 80.

This feature (which is enabled on your computer) combines multiple address book contacts for the same person into a meta contact.

To convert normal users into meta contacts, drag them onto each other in the contact list.

How many lines did you have it set to? If you want to read the entire conversation, why not open the log?
