Re: 1password->Growl->Prowl, and then it goes wrong...

Ahh, glad to hear it wasn't a bug on the Prowl or Growl side of things.

Re: WooCommerce and PROWL - Test works - Order doesnt

Getting in touch with the authors of the plugin will probably be an easier route for a fix.

Re: 1password->Growl->Prowl, and then it goes wrong...

Try changing 1Password's style from Default to something else. The per-notification prefs on the Growl side of things may be off.

Re: Separate notifications for unique devices

Better message synchronization is being actively worked on. The iPad app should rotate without issue: is it possible you have rotation lock on?

Re: Prowl.pl Line Break

I'm not too familiar with bash, but could you try double-escaping it? My guess is, it's passing the literal newline to the script, after having parsed the \n into a newline while the bash run.

e.g., turn \n into \\n.

Updated, added Sparrow. IMO doesn't register for any URLs so Prowl can't launch it.

Re: Crypto::SSLeay install problem

The command is correct, and the install works successfully when it can find openssl. I see no "run without 'install'" errors on either OS. Note that you quoted the incorrect command in your first post. It is "Crypt" not "Crypto". When I tried this, CPAN provided a nice ...

Re: Crypto::SSLeay install problem

(Update: SSLeay is not required in Lion.) Apple deprecated OpenSSL support on 10.7, which has has the unfortunate effect here of breaking the script. I'm not sure if there's an easy fix, but you may consider using `growlnotify` to trigger Prowl notifications, or removing the SSL support from the scr...

Re: Prowl under iOS sends clicks straight to link

iOS 4 merely doesn't inform the application that you're launching for a push notification unless you 'swipe to view' as soon as the notification is loaded. It's not Prowl changing behavior, it's iOS 5. However, I feel that iOS 5's behavior is much more solid: tapping a notification popup or swiping ...

Re: Frequent connection/authentication errors in Prowl

If you can send me the UDID of one of the devices you can reproduce it on (in iTunes, use the copy shortcut [⌘C on Mac]) I can send you a build with more debug logging.

Re: Prowl under iOS sends clicks straight to link

Tapping on a notification, or "swiping to unlock" on the icon, will trigger a redirect.

Is your goal to send a `url` notification but not have it redirect to the URL in any case?

Sorry for the delay on this one, I've been moving across country and haven't had a lot of time to work on anything outside of my normal job. I will let you know when I address this issue in a future release.

Re: Prowl under iOS sends clicks straight to link

The behavior is the same as iOS 4, however the context is a little more different. Tapping on a notification, or launching from the home-screen, always will trigger any redirects. In iOS 4, if you 'unlock' after dismissing a notification, it merely unlocks the device and does not trigger the push no...

Re: Frequent connection/authentication errors in Prowl

Can you try restarting any routers you are behind? It's likely an SSL error, which I've only been able to reproduce when a router is misbehaving somewhere along the connection.

Re: Launchable Application List Requests

Thanks for adding Things to the launch list so quickly. I had a question though. When you setup the redirect, is it only launching "things:" or did you add the application name and event name as variables to the redirect like "things:add?title={application_name}&notes={event_name...
