I have exactly the same problem on 0.77. I just mentioned about this in the buddy list topic. Sometimes I have the whole conversation window full of "went away" and "came back" lines although my friend is just switching between program windows.

Hi, I use the AdiumX version 0.77 on my iBook. The problem is that every time I connect with it, I get lots of "buddy list syncronization issue" dialogs to my screen. What's the problem? It always asks if I want to add all my buddies again to my buddy list. How does this problem generate? ...
