adium opens just fine, and i can do everything without problem, but crashes when i open a message window. i'm not sure the extent of the problem. it's certainly been asked before, but how did you get your buddy list to display just the icons, with no names?

how can i change other's buddy icons permenantly? i can give someone a buddy icon i choose, but their buddy icon seems to constantly override mine. i've tryed messing with a number of variations in the preferences about overriding with address book images, but nothing sticks. do i need to actually m...

this has happened updating to .81 and the .82b. i have the option to have others see when i go idle turned off, and when i update (and maybe when i even just restart the adium, i haven't tested it yet), the option turns itself back on. is anyone else having a problem like this?
