With 1.04 I can't invite to group chat...recipients don't receive invitations. Anyone have same problem....and discovered a workaround?

Hi, I just upgarded from panther to tiger. Only problem: no event sounds in Adium (1.03).

System volume is up (MP3s, etc, play fine).

Adium prefs are for iChat sound set, and volume slider in prefs is up.

Help?

But there's a VERY low maximum character limit when speaking to group chats. I can't even paste in an average length URL without going over limit. Is this an AIM limit or an Adium limit?

Hi, using v.77 I can't invite or be invited into group chats. Invitations just die.

Also, there doesn't seem to be any way to invite new people once a group chat has been started (I see no menu choices and can't drag names from my buddy list to the chat window).

Ok, then, once I've got ABAB chat window open, how do I add people (i.e. invite) to the room? dragging from contact list doesn't work, and I do not see a menu option.

Ok, thanks, but it ain't working. I can neither invite others to group chats nor be invited by them. Invitations not received on either end. Also, even if if worked, I can't figure out how to invite new people to an existing group chat. Dragging names from buddy list to the window doesn't work. Help...

Please be gentle with me if I'm being an idiot. In AIM, you can have the program go to a group chat room entitled "ABABAB", and if the chat exists, you're brought there, and, if not, it's created. Cool way for friends to get together...they just all agree to name the room the same thing ea...
