I may have just missed this...but a halo/maserchief duck for a dock icon would be - at least to me - profoundly cool.
I hear the duck-making people are kind of on a break, but I just thought I'd make the suggestion if it hasn't already been made.

i'm on 10.3.9, so it looks to be a problem with the app itself.

i installed Adium on a friend's computer today, and got the shadow bug again. Here's how i fixed it:

Preferences/Advanced
click the already checked "show window shadow" box so that it is unchecked.
click it again.

that got it to work for me. Hope this helps!

Yeah, i definitely did, and i was about to punch the screen until after some fiddleing around it fixed itself...i have no idea how. Try just playing around in preferences followed by several restarts, at least that's what i did. But rest assured, it CAN be fixed...Somehow
