:) It's no worse than DVD sub size - about the same I'd say. Viewed on larger screen sizes, though, I'd like them to be about 75% the current size. It's just a personal preference, so a quick-and-dirty SRT->SSA conversion should serve my purpose. Something like font size really should be dealt with ...

There are tons of warnings but no error if all went well. I'm afraid the compiler warnings are almost a fact-of-life with many open source projects, and you'll find the same warnings when building release snapshots as well. Do what's comfortable for you. A work-around, FWIW
Affected audio tracks have the codec ID of "A_AAC/MPEG*/...". I learned by accident that if you remux the file using mkvmerge, the codec ID changes to "A_AAC" and the audio plays fine. It worked for me for all of my affected MKV files (several dozens.) I'm using an SVN build of 1...
