I don't really ever use MSN so its been happening to me with AIM. And i wouldn't mind if that was the only error but it seems the buddy i'm trying to add doesn't get added. thats more of the error.

I still have adium .80 so i don't know if this was fixed in .81... but i've noticed that when i'm iming someone not on my buddy list and i go to add them as a contact it doesn't succesffuly add them and I instead get an 'unknown conversation error' (it says that in the chat window)... i'm not sure w...

Either way, it would make the application far more desirable in a lot of people's opinions. I know tons of people (on the forums, as well as friends in real life) who have criticisms about certain features being removed in almost every updated version.

same here... thats very undesirable. 0.77 used to log all open chat windows automatically when you quit i believe (if i'm correct). Please bring that back!

not sure what you mean by simple message style...? but i bet you you could switch to it in adium .80... adium .80 actually has most of the features that are in 0.77... they are just a little more difficult to find...

No... animating icons will never be implemented into the window, as adium repeatedly shows the icon on the page and this would cause MAJOR lag... if you wanna see your buddie's animated icons, you should just put your mouse over their name on your list and it will show the icon along with their away...

same thing happened to me... I think maybe that means you've had v 0.77 for 73 days before you installed the new one... I don't really know that could be completeley wrong and this could just be an error... who knows.

Yea... its weird... with this new version you have to manually set all your soundsets... go to preferences->events-> and creat yourself a new preset named whatever you want and then go and change all the sign on and off stuff as well as the recieve message sounds to all the ones you've downloaded......

i see... yea growl seems to have a lot of options that don't really work haha...

How do I get growl to display its notifications in the bottom right hand corner of the screen? I tried switching the bezel options inside of the growl pref. pane to the bottom right but it didn't seem to work. All the notifications pop up in the top left every time...
