Go to the adiumXtras page... Certain contact lists don't use a border. Bubbles for instance.... Actually I don't think you even have to go to the xtra's page. just go to preferences -> Appearance -> List Layout... and switch it to borderless window, or bubbles or whatever you want... :wink:

I have to set the preference to "Display Status Window When Away" under the 'Status' preferences every time i restart adium... Should be a simple fix. (to make it save that preference).

Ok I figured out how to make my bubbles bigure... it was a mere issue of changing the font size in the style-layout. Now as for the other issues, i'm dissapointed you won't put the away thing back on the file menu but i guess i understand as it seems to be part of your new advanced away message crea...

I realize this... but I know that I, and i'm sure many others as well would be willing to donate money to the cause if it meant getting file transfers working... Simply put a paypal donate button on the main page and i'll donate in a second. Get a couple hundred people donating and you're golden... ...

Could you communicate with AOL, or AIM and request the ability to do such? There must be some way to get into that proxy server even if you aren't the official client... iChat does it.

oh I see... err... maybe you could hire someone from another staff (aim or something like that) to write or implement that code for you... It couldn't be that difficult if you got a person with the right expertise, am I correct?

Ok... I'm not sure i really understand why it can't be implemented yet... but if you could give me an explanation as to why most other clients i've seen (AIM, iChat, etc...) can handle file transfers with no problemo, routers or no routers, and why adium can't, but is superior in almost every other ...

oh... i never wanted a status thing in my window... i like how i can just put my mouse over their name to see their status.... that's fine. the main issues i have are the dock icon not working properly like it used to and the connection stuff i mentioned above.

I think they are gone for all the ducks... I'm using the hippie duck... But i get the feeling they don't work for any of them... hopefull it will be fixed in .81?

Alright well yea i see that you can connect and disconnect via that method but i think it was a lot easier when it was in the file menu...

what exactly do you mean by the adium menu bar?... if you mean the menu bar at the top left that says adium... then mine has barely any features except links to the website for updates and Xtras, and the preferences window... ... Yea i just realized that you can make #4 happen in the current version...
