Trashed my Adium preferences along with a few other files. Still showed. It's definitely a MSN issue. I am now going through all the MSN/Microsoft preferences, but they are sown throughout my computer like the sinful seeds of Satan.

I don't see how it could be spam. I use a service called "spam gourmet". I have had no spam in my email for, I can't even remember, it's been so long.

Thanks - I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've just changed my privacy settings as BLD suggested. Unfortunately, I'm not as popular as I'd like to think I am (random messages), so that seems like an easy fix for now. Cheers.

85 views and no one has an inkling how to stop this?

Since the last update, every time I log in, I get two to three spam messages pop up. Can I change the preferences to stop this (without blocking other random actual people from IMing me)? It's pretty annoying.
