Yeah,

have it setup to load on start up but it doesn't work.

Have to open system preferences and then it will load.

Using latest version of Tiger.

I've been experiencing the same issues and the GrowlHelperApp pops in in out in the activity monitor.

I've also noticed that the Growl icon no longer starts up with the system. It will load if I open system preferences and I select Grow.
