actually, thank you. i created .png files and replaced those in the package contents and it works

however, i now have the problem where my icon is stretched out unlike the rest, shown below. is there anything i can do?

after going to the adium 2.0 folder in the library, i found the downloaded icons, but i was met with the same problem where pasting the new icon over the existing one does not work

no, i mean where do i find the package contents of the downloaded icons?

i have several icons i downloaded, but pasting over them will at most just keep my new icon in the dock only when adium is offline

when i go online the other icon appears again

where would i find the downloaded icons?

the only icons i can find in the package contents are the default icons they dont allow you to change

to be honest that looks very confusing, but i'll see if i can make sense of it
