I just checked the "Extra Smileys" pack, and it loads into Adium without any problems. The only oddity is that all of the Emoticon names have a "gif" prefixed to them - however, that's pretty much a cosmetic issue. (Looking through the .plists, it looks like all of the names are...

Agreed - taking a look at the emoticon.plists, it looks like they've all been clipped a few (maybe 10 or so?) lines from the end. As a result, they end in the middle of an emoticon key, and will refuse to load. (At least they refuse to load in the preference list editor, I haven't tried them in Adi...

well i downloaded the emoticons and they work good with just a very tiny addition to them. the way how adium installs them is simple, the file auto-unzips(safari web-browser does this), then if a file has the ending .adiumemoticonset you can just double click it and it will move to a folder ~/libra...

I'm not sure if anyone else is interested in this, but I've created a program to automate converting a Trillian format emoticon set to Adium Emoticon set.
