Go into advanced -> messages, and select a value for min font size... does that fix it? Seems to fix the message display, however the tabs are still weird. ;) With the new prefs window this option is not available and setting it from v0.77 doesn't do it... ADVANCED -> Messages. It's there :)

Much like I made X so I'm automatically right? I'd consider that crass but I've certainly seen that a number of times to shoot somebody down. Or, "it's my project I'll do as I want." When have I ever said "I made X so I'm automatically right", or "it's my project I'll do as...

How does this further the discussion? If you want to refer to a previous discussion, please link it. Everything's already been discussed at some point, so using that as an excuse to shut down a poster is crass at best.

The debug version of current SVN has a console window. The "Console" window in SVN is actually a debug window. It display a lot of internal information and is intended for debugging, not what the original poster is requesting. Also, the debug window in SVN is only present in development a...

(Barring any bugs that may be causing high or 100% stuck CPU usage...) If performance is a concern, you owe it to yourself to use a standard window contact list with no transparency. Transparency and non-standard lists (including contact bubbles and group bubbles) are EXTREMELY slow. This becomes es...

Keep in mind that what you see in SVN is not guaranteed to be the same when we release 0.8. ;)

They don't show up unless you have an account that uses them. :)

Pointless bulk? It would be a plugin, so if you didn't want to run it it wouldn't affect you at all. Incorrect. It will take countless hours of developer time to implement, test, and maintain this "plugin". It will effect ALL users of Adium, even though the vast majority of them have abso...

lol, this isnt real life conversations? you just really cant compare.. its soley opinion. You can compare, and I did. Real life conversations are very, very similar to IM. In this particular case, what works in real life also works in IM, and I think we've all used Adium enough to appreciate this f...

IMing in general isnt really an advantage.. its a luxury. Huh? Although some don't like ONE window Adium, others (including myself) do. It's all preference. Who cares about size or whatever, the fact is, it was a cool feature and it's gone now. Did you ever think about why it's no longer around. Po...

It's still a custom widget. The message view is not a custom widget, it is a WebView - which is a standard control in 10.2 w/ safari and 10.3 or later by default So are the assorted sidebars (iirc. They could just be table views). The NSSplitPanes, or the NSTableViews? Both standard controls. Consi...

So it seems to me that some information (other chats) is sacrificed in order to save space. The same would apply to a single window mode... Tabbed chatting is not about saving space. Those who look at the tabs as simply window management are overlooking some of their greatest assets. Dual window sh...
