I think it must be an Adium problem. I have two mac (one mbp and one mb), the mbp cannot connect to MSN using adium 1.2.3 but the mb has no problem doing so. At the same time, my mbp can connect to MSN using MS Messenger for Mac v6.0.3 with no problem.
