I wonder if there's something like this?
In PC with Miranda IM, there's a plugin allowing user to fire up a window searching user in the contact list, I can find users within a few keystroke..

I am new to Adium and found it terrific. But one question, I host ICQ and MSN account in my Adium but it sometimes got cutoff and never able to reconnect unless I restart the app. I just can't find out anything more descriptive related to the problem.
