Outside of examples where large datasets are pulled and the sender doesn't filter or coalesce (like Mail, or iStumbler) how often do you find yourself overwhelmed with screens of notifications? I'd wager this is a fairly rare condition and it seems odd to expose such an advanced preference. That's ...

Sorry if this has already been discussed, I couldn't find anything in the forums though. Is there any way to prevent Growl from displaying all notifications when, say, 20+ notifications come in at once?
