This will probably be fixed in 1.3.3. (It's fixed in libpurple more or less)

Okay, maybe you logged in on some infected computer or something then. Somebody probably had your old password for some reason at least.

Your issue is probably that the contact is a OCS/LCS user and not a real msn user then.

Go to Adium Menu -> Privacy options and then select Allow only these contacts or whatever the option is called. Then you will see your allow list so remove the user from this list and then readd properly or whatever you wanna do with it.

Does this happen a lot or did it only happend that day? The day you reported this bug there were problems with the msn servers which caused them to send you to another server probably and when this happens you have to change your status to get the contact list to update, be able to send messages and...

This is just a temporary server issue.

Providing a debug log would be a good first step.

Change your password and don't use sites that claims to show you who blocked you or any other stupid stuff.

That's not so weird since this bug seems to be pretty rare. The weird part is that it happend a lot to you before.

If the answer is no and you want help then you need to paste the debug log because otherwise it's more or less impossible to help you.
