The stuff about 1.3.2b2 wasn't a fix. There is a proper debug build of 1.3.2 now so get that one and generate a debug log if you wanna help fix this problem.

That's strange, not much have changed since beta 2 and nothing related to this afaik.

Do a backup of your ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0 and then delete ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Users/Default/libpurple/blist.xml. This will force Adium to redownload the server stored contact lists.

If the contact doesn't use it any longer why don't just remove it?

Are you using 1.3.1 or 1.3.2?
Is the contact a LCS/Office messenger contact?
Does the user "work", do you see him/her online etc?

Try to delete the contact then reconnect before readding it.

Try the beta @ http://beta.adiumx.com. The MSN code is improved a lot in it so hopefully it will fix it.

ICQ doesn't support that setting so it resets it every time. I don't know if that's why it happens for Yahoo! too but probably.

There should be a file for every crash that happend so just copy one of them and paste it here.

Click the magnifier glass in the top right corner and write console to run it. You don't have to uninstall most applications in OS X, just drag the beta to your application folder and it will replace the old one.

I think that Adium removes empty groups automatically.

You can find crash reports if you run Console and check through the log files. These will tell us why your Adium is crashing so please post at least one of them here. Adium 1.3.2 should improve this and you can find the beta @ http://beta.adiumx.com.

You are able to send offline messages in Adium 1.3.2 which currently is beta and can be found @ http://beta.adiumx.com.

Press down the option key while starting Adium.

Try to login visible instead of invisible.
