Maybe a checkbox somewhere could be a temporary solution.

You can still see the information if you check the chat transcript viewer. This change was made because it was annoying when chat windows were flooded with status messages.

No the beta will have even more features than my last build.

Lots of threads about this issue and some even on the first page here so that you don't even have to search to find them.

Yes there is also a bug related to this in 1.3 so it will probably be fixed in 1.3.2 then and the beta isn't out yet.

This isn't the proper what I'm listening to though that you see in WLM but support for this will be available in Adium 1.4.

Did the account that couldn't connect have 0 contacts? That's fixed in the latest beta so that might be why it works.

There seems to be some problem with the server stored aliases in msn-pecan since it's disabled now so this is probably related to this.

Nope. I'm on trunk now and some of the Adium developers didn't want me to do any more unofficial builds.

You can always build your own though and since trunk is msnp15 now you don't have to mess with libpurple at all.

That would just require a lot of unnecessary work since the trunk already switched to msnp15 and it will probably be backported to a 1.3.x release so you just have to wait a while or do a plugin yourself.

MSN is just the protocol and you can register whatever email you want to use with it so you can have @yahoo.com, @gmail.com or whatever and it's still a MSN account.
