personally i could care less about the duck. the only thing i would suggest since some people want, is shipping adium with the most populy duck adiums such as vectory, the ducks family, etc.

if they hire anyone i definatley think they should use Sam Gwilym who created the popular Vectory Adium. His style is a breath of fresh air, I feel in design.

Couldnt the two IM clients merge? It seems stupid to have two alike products, both using same backend and both maybe using chatkit. my only fault with adium is contact list organization; no matter how many groups (2 or 5) there is still not enough space but then again this is an old issue.
