AC3 passthrough definitely stopped working for me when I installed Quicktime 7.4.5 and iTunes 7.6.2. When I reinstalled Quicktime 7.4.1, AC3 passthrough worked again. Nothing else changed - this is on a Mac mini core dou used in my home theater only. I see this problem too. It looks like AC3 passth...
