It should be possible to link a protocol to a smiley-package. For example ICQ and MSN both have: "8-)" and it's annoying to see an ICQ-smiley when chatting with a MSN-contact.

This Applescript worked for me, but i would like to see a solution through the GUI.
It could be as simple as double-clicking the group to rename it.
