Ooglek, I tried your first suggestion and that solved the problem. However, I lost all my preferences. D'oh. Oh well, I had them pretty well memorized.

Can't See Sent/Received IMs in 1.3
I just updated to Adium 1.3 and am now unable to view any of my sent or received IMs. All of my IM windows look like this, even when there are actual IMs within the window (confirmed by using IM history): http://i38.tinypic.com/mjw8w2.gif I'm running Mac 10.4.11 (Intel).
