The problem appears to only affect QT Pro. I have 2 systems with QT 7.5 Pro, and both will play the AVI but not show the subtitles. On 2 other systems with QT 7.5, the subtitles show up flawlessly. There must be something broken with QT Pro. Perhaps the Perian team can take a look and provide a fix?...
