I have two macbook, one have QuickTime 7.5 (149.5) with perian 1.1. it works fine.
another one had updated to 7.5.5 (249.13) with perian 1.1. the subtitle doesn't work now.
I think The Perian need an updating maintain for this 7.5.5 Quicktime.
