Right-click the script and choose Show package contents. Then look for a file with extension .scpt inside the package and double-click to open it in Script Editor.

I just ran a couple of tests using MSN Messengr 7.5 for Windows. There are two different ways of 'disabling' your display picture, but in both cases you end up with one of the default pictures, i.e. Orange Daisy Soccer Ball Chess Pieces Beach Chairs etc. To me it seems impossible to not have any pic...

In the conversation window you can click the contact's image to make it bigger.

If you by "preview" mean the application, try taking a snapshot of the image with cmd-shift-4 and open the resulting file in Preview.

Are you sure it can be done? I've never seen anyone without a pic. If you don't select one, you always (?) get one of the default pics.

How about selecting an all black or all white picture?

Which also works for me. It is perhaps that simple then.
5222 'new SSL'
5223 'old SSL'

Neither works the other way around for me.

I guess it depends on what client and "resource" you are using? In our case I find it reasonable that it works with the port number provided for Gaim. What is the "resource" all about anyway? Did you guys make a deal with Google to allow access? Or is it just for statistics? E.g....

I've never gotten it to work either. So today I tried various combinations of servers, ports and resources. It turns out that you need to change the port number to 5222 (instead of 5223) for Adium to connect. This works using both the Google Talk and Jabber account types. devs , is the port number j...

Thanks, now Portable Adium is out: http://www.freesmug.org/portableapps/adium/ Looks good, though you've forgotten to remove "Firefox" here: 2. Clicking "START Portable Adium.command" will launch a script that launch Firefox from your portable device. P.S. Update wiki . Cool, do...

What client is your Win friend using? I usually get large text chunks (with linebreaks) pasted from MSN Messenger on Win XP, and they turn out just like I'd expect.

I mean, thats kinda nice, but that means no one else can contact me. I use my SN for alot of business so its important that people can get in touch when needed. I would code something myself if I knew how, but that isn't my field of expertise unfortunately. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when somebod...

squint, how about asking the Liteswitch (which is quite nice btw) developers to add a preference of which applications get the simulated Dock click? ;)

I cannot reproduce this with OS X 10.4.4 and Adium 0.88b4. When cmd-tabbing to Adium, it never switches the active tab. When clicking the dock icon it does switch though (as expected).

I was referring to your response to the second post. Yes, that's what I assumed. You seriously need to reread what was typed at first. instead of reacting in the rather rude way you did. There was no reason to reply in the way you did. You are not a mod, if you have a complaint about someone pm a m...

I think it would be fair to assume that this option was not available for jogybear since he bothered registering at the forum and posting for help about this? IMHO suggesting he 'would' know the person is a bit like telling someone who lost his password that he should have written it down. Your choi...

I'm sure that's just the kind of answer jogybear was looking for. It's honest, and straight forward. I don't see the problem with it. I'm sure this is the answer you were looking for too. As you probably already know, I was refering to the second part of the answer, which was beside the point, patr...

I touched upon this earlier, without much response, so I'd like to bring it up again. You appear to be discussing the 'division into separate log files' mainly as a question of GUI usability. (Apart from the mentioned disadvantages of having huge/many files.) But is that really the main concern? Doe...

So by that logic, we should make all chats between the same two participants log into a single file, if we took the argument far enough. Which is not so bad, provided powerful search capabilites are provided. Personally, when I use the log viewer my question is more often on the form "what was...
