Or turn Perian 1.1.1 off when exporting, and back on afterwards. Kind of a drag. I hope the Perian team is working on this, because it's a serious bug.

It happens when trying to change movie formats. In this case, I was trying to reduce the size of a 15 MB Quicktime H.264 file to about 4 MB so that it could be received as an email attachment.

Perian 1.1.1 is still dropping frames and lowering the gamma when exporting to Quicktime H.264. Both problems disappeared when I did the export again after uninstalling Perian, and reappeared when I reinstalled Perian. Is anybody else experiencing this?
