I don't see what the problem is. Normally simply means the contact list acts in the same way as a normal window, in the sense that it can sit above or below windows depending on the order it's clicked.

It shows up like a status message does on the AIM protocol. No need to set display names as status message, they are not display names, they are status messages.

Thats because MSN does not work with Growl. There is no add-on to enable it either, the only way to gain Growl notificatoins for MSN IM is to use Adium/aMsn or similar.

What network are you trying to use it on? AIM, MSN? If it's MSN it won't work because Adium is not able to set or show the Personal Status Messages due to a limitation of the libpurple library which powers Adium.

My Adium doesn't seem to be updating any of my contacts. At this moment I have only 7 people with pictures and I know at least 4 of them no longer have that picture. I figured these should be working in 1.0 as they were before it, anything I can do to make Adium search for them?

I'm not totally sure on this, but I think it depends on what Growl style you are using, I have a feeling only some are clickable! I know for a fact that Music Video isn't.

I hope someone is able to do it, I'd love to be able to use Adium for MSN, but I miss too much info without the status messages!
