Excuse my ignorance, but was is an OCS/LCS user? This contact is my mother and she has a Hotmail account.

This does not solve the problem. I have deleted and re-added this particular contact numerous times and the error just keeps coming back. I've deleted "blist" in libpurple, etc.

I am having the same problems as this user regarding the "xxx@hotmail.com on the local list is inside the group "Family" but not on the server list. Do you want this buddy to be added?" message every time I sign on. Was this issue ever resolved? If so, how was it done? Like this ...

I managed to separate a contact with multiple emails and try as I might to consolidate, it's just not happening. It will let me combine the different usernames for this contact, but still insists on listing the emails separately. It looks like this: John Doe johndoe@anywhere.com johndoe@thisnet.net ...
