I never seem to be able to get file transfers to work in Adium, regardless whether I'm on MSN or AIM, and whether the other person is on iChat, trillian, or MSN messenger.

Any suggestions on fixing this? Is there a 'Make transfers work ok' checkbox I'm missing?

I occasionally get dropped from an account. Is there any way to get Adium to automatically reconnect after this occurs?

Quite often a message comes in which I read without activating Adium, either via Growl or because I can see the chat window in the background.
