Hello,
I'm using Adium but when a contact sends me a file (from MSN Messenger or other) nothing happens on my Adium.

What's wrong ?

Well that very odd but those contacts just dissapeard from my contact list. I had to add them again.

No, I did a test using MSN Messenger and ther eI could see them online. When I got back to Adium they were offline again. Naturally I asked if they are offline and they told me no. I will wait to see if this happens again.

What I mean is that the conversation appears on the screen when it is a new conversation and I'd prefer it to be minimized. Ex: I have mothing on my screen but my desktop. When I receive a new message, the new conversation window pops up and remains visible in the middle of the screen. Hence, other ...

go to your Adium preferences and in the Even section there is a list of events. Choose "New Mail" event and there you can add an action that will be triggered. Add Grow and/or sound ... as you wish.

I'm still having this issue. Some contact are just offline allthe time even when they talk to me. When I reconnect using MS Messenger, I see them online.

I've been looking for such a theme in the xtras but I cant find any. All the themes have so small contact pictures that it is difficult to see what"s on them. Do you know such a theme ?

Hello, I actually have exactly the same problem and it is very annoying. The messages I got vary a bit though. I get it when I'm using Adium on my MBP at home or Pidgin on LInux at work. When I use Live Messenger or Mac Messenger I don#t get them. I'm happy that Im not the only one with this problem...
