I also have this problem. I have disabled GrowlMail as Bernhard suggested above for now so that I can use Mail. I see that the exception is caused by WebCore, I have recently installed the Security Update and I recently installed Safari 4 beta also. I know Safari 4 beta relies on the latest security...

Then I noticed GrowlHelperApp was "not responding", I killed it, started growl again from the preference pane and then once I put the bundles back, I can't reproduce it anymore. Weird little bug this one.

Neither Mail.app nor Safari will start successfully for me since around the time of the 10.5.6 update. Growl is mentioned in the Stack Trace of the hang. If I move GrowlMail from the Mail Bundles folder, Mail starts successfully, put it back and it hangs. Safari started successfully once I removed t...
