According to Activity Monitor, there is only one GrowlHelperApp running.

I am receiving two growlmail notifications for each new incoming e-mail. They are spaced several seconds apart, and are identical. I have tried turning Growl on and off a few times in the systempreferences, but am still getting double notices. Anyone with an idea about what to do?
