Re: Adium 1.5 nightly builds compared to Adium 1.4 beta
Is there a place to talk about 1.5-specific issues? (for example, if no Adium window is open (preferences, chat, ...) clicking on the Dock icon does not change spaces to the one where the Adium contact list is at)).

Re: Adium 1.5 nightly builds compared to Adium 1.4 beta
Okay, good to know about the dependencies.
I suggest making the audio and video components pluggable downloads so that even once the support is integrated, it wouldn't impact the file size.
Maybe I should go back to report RTL problems with Adium (mainly the conversation log I think is left).

Re: Adium 1.5 nightly builds compared to Adium 1.4 beta
Thanks. Moved to 1.5 nightly.
Any particular reason why Adium is close to 90MB?
(even complex modern browsers are ±20MB...)
Not that I'm complaining...

Adium 1.5 nightly builds compared to Adium 1.4 beta
Question:
How synced are the v1.4 beta releases compared to the v1.5 nightly releases?
Meaning,
- if I choose to use a nightly build - do I lose any current functionality?
- are commits made for 1.4 also being commited to 1.5?

Adium release cycle
Quick question about something I was wondering about:
- Does the Adium project have any set release cycles? (I am aware of the Roadmap page).

Curious question - application filesize
Hi, Just a quick question - why is Adium a massive 30MB download? I have seen much more complex applications (say, browsers), that weigh less than half of Adium's size. I was wondering what makes Adium this way? and if there is something to do about it? Clean the code? remove dependencies? something...

Re: Facebook now officially supports login via XMPP!
Facebook's instructions did not work for me. The instructions also seem to be missing a few steps as it is. 1. I add a new [Jabber] account 2. I add my Facebook address and password as per Facebook's instructions === Now these are steps not mentioned: === 3. I need to choose a server, and I get seve...

Re: Request "Facebook" group name back
No, because creating such a group and moving the contacts to it via Adium, also changes this @ Facebook.
There is a bug/feature request to enable users have either 1 Facebook group or displays contacts like they are on Facebook.com

Dock text size limit?
Hello, Is there by any chance some sort of a text limit on the amount of chars that can be displayed above Adium's icon in the Dock? I am asking because I am experiencing such a limit... See image: http://i44.tinypic.com/21ka255.jpg In the above image you see a partial nickname. It is supposed to re...

Space Jumping support?
Somewhat of an odd title, I know. I'll try to explain. As an example, take the Opera browser. Lets put it in Space #1 and Adium in Space #2. Both application are running and open (window is seen and not closed/minimized). If I am now in Space #2 and I click on my Opera icon in the Dock, the Space wi...

Perian and Flip4Mac
Hi, New to Mac here... When I first got my Macbook, I noticed some of my movies not playing in QT and so I've downloaded Perian, and all was well (great job!). Then I've noticed that a website I frequent (http://news.walla.co.il) won't play video... So I've installed Flip4Mac and again now all is we...

Re: Feature request: ignore event X for group Y
What I did was disable online/offline notifications globally and then enabled it per-protocol based on the instructions above.
Not a convinient way to do so but it works.
Thanks.

Feature request: ignore event X for group Y
In short: I'd like to get a notification when a user comes online, but NOT for users who are, for instance, in the Facebook group. So I'd like Adium to allow me to set which protocols are allowed to display such notifications, and which protocols are not allowed to do so. If this is already possible...

Not enough options for message sending
Hi, It seems to me Adium is lacking in message sending options. When I'm writing messages, sometimes I want to go one line down - this is usually done with the Enter key. I don't see an option to do so in Adium. Maybe it's because I'm using a Mac only two days... :) This is how I'd prefer it to be: ...
