I just ran into this problem also.

I was logged into Yahoo.. but when It tried to login via Adium it gave me that error. Tried re-logging in/out of Yahoo on my browser but didn't help.

I finally went into Safari's "Empty Cache" menu option and then re-logged into Adium and it worked.

This is weird, I got the ""MSN Error: Friendly name changes too rapidly" error message from MSN today (I was in iTunes) using Adium 1.3.3 rc1

This looks like a really old bug #4666

Anyone else get this?

Okay, this is annoying. I can't seem to delete some sound sets that I've installed. When I go into the Adium preferences -> Events, I see the sound set, but in the ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/Sounds directory I don't see it. (tried Spotlight, and /Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0/So...

Does anyone know if there's any keyboard shortcut to bring up the emoticon menu?

eg, in Trillian you hit control-e to bring up the emoticon list and you can pick one with the arrow keys or mouse cursor..

You can try an MSN-specific emoticon pack.. that should help. I'm using msn-animated and it seems to have pretty much most of the weird emoticons that MSN has.
