I have gotten this from time to time, don't know why it happens. But you are right, it seems to be associated with scripts. It tells you Gaim has shortened it, but that never seems to do anything...

Well, you could set the soundset to "None", then it wouldn't bother you when you are available, and you dont need sounds when you are away... because, you are away

hmm, works fine for me... Try clearing your browser history, and emptying the cache.

well, you can delete it, but it also has all that stuff like contact list styles and message views. So if you are not too attached, then delete tho folder. It was most likely a user plist file or something, so putting the message view folder and contact list folder into the new Adium 2.0 folder shou...

Try moving the Adium 2.0 folder out of application support, to the desktop. Don't delete it. Restart adium, and see if it still gives you the problems.

yeah, its definately an issue with AIM on Adium. Jabber File transfers have always worked flawlessly for me.

the AIM file transfer ports are 5190-5200

I opened them a while ago, and it doesn't seem to effect the success rate of file tranfers. I can receive files all the time, but I have never been able to send a file successfully...

Looks like TinkerTool to me...

System Preferences -> Accounts -> Startup Items

From there you can add and subtract items to start when you log in.

I had the same problem for a while, but if you mouse over a contact, it tells you that they are on a mobile device.... which is the same as iChat...

well, I havent actually done this, but try just putting in "<img src="link to image">. Thats always worked for putting images in blogger for me...

Okay, go into User/Library/Preferences and delete the .plists related to adium. I believe they are called com.AdiumX.plist, and another one id related to the crash reporter. Try deleting those.
