Uninstalled and physically removed all
OK - no more fooling around. I uninstalled Growl, then used spotlight to find anything with Growl in the name. I trashed them all. Now I'll reinstall all from the beta. I hope this works...

Do you have the old GrowlSafari and the new inputmanager version of GrowlSafari installed? Hmmm... I'm not quite sure how to figure that out. The Safari Loader is 1.0 - I don't find other GrowlSafari files except for the ticket. I thought I installed all from the beta. LMK how to uninstall the Grow...

GrowlSafari stuff not in folders stated by help file
I also noted just now that Growl Safari is not where it is supposed to be located according your your help page: http://growl.info/documentation/growlsafari.php I was looking to remove GrowlSafari, but there is no SIMBL plugins folder in my library and the GrowlSafari folder is in the "Library/...

Growl Safari - Duplicate Notifications - some stick
I've mentioned this before in another thread, but haven't gotten any specfic suggestions. With GrowlSafari, I often get duplicate Growl notices from RSS feeds. (No, I don't have duplicate RSS bookmarks BTW). This wouldn't be so bad, but the problem is that at some point many of these notifications d...

And I'm not interested in creating scripts for all applications that don't register. If applications don't support growl and you don't create scripts for those applications, growl will NOT work with those applications. I understand that - but I'd like to just get *any* of your supported apps to reg...

Yikes
Almost 'where'? I've never had a finder crash like that with OSX10.3 or 10.4 and I'm a bit concerned something odd is afoot with Growl. Sure, I've got a few notifications working now from Growl - but only from a few apps, and apps aren't registering themselves with Growl. And I'm not interested in c...

Finder Crash
OK... that's it. The finder crashed as I was trying to get to the scripts.
All my RSS feeds in Safari were reset to a week before... GrowlSafari registered - but no other apps.
LMK when your next version is released, as I don't think I should futz with this one anymore.
Thanks!

Entourage Scripts not recognized
Well, I tried to activate the Entourage script following the instructions - but neither of the scripts are recognized as file type - they stay dimmed. Aargh. OK, I'm still toying with the scripts.
So normally you don't have to install these scripts to get the apps to register? They' should do it on their own, correct?

I forget if we have anything that works with eudora, but entourage has a script in the dmg. Safari needs GrowlSafari or Saft, and iTunes needs Growltunes/Synergy/some other app Dashboard and konfab do not conflict with growl. We don't charge for Growl, lol. OK... I'll mess with the scripts. Apologies
Sorry to snap - I just thought it's basic that most users would know when apps are open... Especially anyone wanting to use a techy app like this. But my tone came of harsher than I intended. I installed the 0.7.1 beta (using 0.7 uninstall script first), and so far no difference in the last c...

Not registering any apps except for itself. Growl allows other apps to register themselves (ie, it does not do the registration on its own). Are applications running currently? (check the activity monitor). Of course other apps are running! I'm not that dense. And, no I'm not using the BETA ...
