I have no idea what you saying in the remainder of the post, but thanks for reminding me that I set my IP manually. I now changed my Yahoo account settings back to use " scs.msg.yahoo.com " instead of the IP address and it fixed my connection problems. Apparently Yahoo has moved away from ...
