Developer: Closing an existing notification

Is it possible to close a notification that's being displayed? I'm looking for functionality similar to Synergy's.
As a last resort, it would be possible to write a plugin using the Growl source, right? Thanks for the help.

Nevermind. Got it. I didn't realize GROWL_NOTIFICATIONS_ALL and GROWL_NOTIFICATIONS_DEFAULT were constants, I thought they were supposed to be strings themselved. :)
