yes I did.
I have 2 more suspects:
Pathfinder and 4D, but always in connection with receiving mails.

But switching the region worked for me now .....

Sorry, didn't express myself clearly. Ciphire and Growl are switching the keyboard when: - emails are coming in - the region is set to Japan - the language of the finder is set to German - a Japanese Keyboard is used this looks than funny as both programs are involved in receiving mails. but it anyway happens with Growl and Ciphire.
It happens only when the region is set to Japan.
If I set it to German, it doesn't happen.

When emails come in Growl is always switching my keyboard setting to Japanese.

Note, my region is set to Japan, but the system runs in German with Japanese being installed.

I use Tiger.
