I'm having a similar problem too. I can get audio of an AVI file, but no video. I downloaded DVX for Mac and all works. I'm sure there is something we are overlooking. I'm trying to use Perian to try to keep things "all in one" for my video streaming to the home theater. Any helpful advice...
