Upgraded to Quicktime 7.6.2 but still no luck...

Should I uninstall Perian, delete everything from library/quicktime folder and re-install perian? Or will this cause other problems...?

Ok, so I removed the components in that list (*see below) but I still have the same problem, my mkv files have no sound in quicktime. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall perian after I've deleted the obsolete components? I'm still left with quite a number of components in there, do I need to delete...
