Hi folks. My client just downloaded the latest Adium, added a Twitter account, validated it with Twitter, and it it showing that it cannot retrieve the user list. Is it that it can't authenticate nor get a user list [fail]. I have two accounts that can't be accessed as well. Any thing I should check...

It's a global ID that I am thinking I need to set. How do I do that?

I never had that problem. Try deleting your Twitter account, start over. It should open up your browser where you should be logged into Twitter (log in first with un/pw). Then you should get a code which you pass back to Adium. My issue was with the Twitter login. You have to be in the right account...

Found it. Twitter was automatically choosing the first account, as it was logged in.

Hi there. Nothing was working, so I turned off that preference in Advanced. They are separate now, but they work. They were still combined after creating a new contact.

Hi folks. From what I gather, I combined 2 contacts accidentally. Then I was getting strange messages coming from the one person, when I thought it was the other. So I deleted the users. Now I can't make a user without them adopting the other person's account. How do I fix this? I know their account...

OK, I worked some magic in BBEdit after I imported a copy of the logs folder for them. It's all XML, but I got it to work.

Yes. The dates are a bit messed up, so I thought I would go about it using a text export.

Hi folks. I looked around the forums, in the app, don't know where to find this answer. How can I export the timeline? There are too many to copy manually, so I would rather export the whole thing and bring it into BBEdit. Any ideas? I selected many items and right clicked, but the app hung. Cheers
