I've found quite a good solution:

If I'm re-adding the skype contacts witch manual lookup of the Address Book Entry it gets linked to this Person and uses the Address Book Picture, Nickname etc.

Also the Skype Entries can afterwards be merged to Metacontacts.

the only problem is, that following the explanations in the skype forum the api works only in one way (opposite to the windows api).
